Dell is going right for the budget-conscious gaming crowd with its latest updates to the Dell Inspiron 7000 series (7467 and 7567). The $799 laptop comes at a decidedly budget price (as far as gaming notebooks are concerned, anyway), and doesn't skimp on features you'd expect to find in a gaming notebook.

The new Inspiron 7000 features a red and black design that's relatively understated, with the exception of its large rear fans. Inside, however, you'll have the option of kitting the Inspiron 7000 out with Intel's i5-7300HQ or i7-7700HQ processors and NVIDIA's recently revealed GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti graphics chips. You can also add up to 32GB of RAM and either a FHD or 4K display, depending on your configuration. Of course, beefing things up that much will cause the laptop's price to inflate quite a bit from its $799 starting point.

Alienware 17

Alongside the Inspiron 7000, Dell also announced some additional options are now available for its Alienware 13, 15, and 17 laptops. Specifically, you can now choose between Intel Intel's i7-7700HQ or i7-7820HK CPUs, and the Alienware 17 is now available with the NVIDIA GTX 1080 on board.

Both the Inspiron gaming notebook will be available in two variants, the 14-inch 7467 or 15-inch 7567, alongside the updated Alienware models on January 5.
