Halo Wars 2's demo is now available for Windows 10

Halo Wars 2 is a definite must-play for anyone into the Halo franchise, but if you'd rather try before you buy, then you're in luck. Following up on a similar recent launch for Xbox One, Microsoft has now launched a demo version of the game for Windows 10 as well.

As you'd expect from a demo, this doesn't contain a ton of content, but there should be enough here to give new players a decent look at what to expect. From Microsoft:

The free demo includes the first mission – The Signal – as well as Blitz Firefight with pre-built decks from Captain Cutter and Atriox, providing a great opportunity to test your mettle and see if you have the strategic chops required for victory.

If you want to try the demo, all you have to do is head to the Windows Store and give it a download. Keep in mind that the demo weighs in at around 16GB, so you'll have to wait a bit to get started. And if you're still on the fence even after playing the first mission, be sure to give our full review a look.
