Intel's 7th generation Kaby Lake CPUs coming later this year

At its Computex 2016 keynote, Intel announced that its 7th generation Kaby Lake processors will be available to consumers by the end of the year. Mass production of the processors will commence on the 14nm node starting next month.

There's not much to share about Kaby Lake at this point, but what we do know is that ASUS' Transformer 3 Pro and Transformer 3 will be one of the first products to run the new cores.

Intel has also talked about its Apollo Lake CPUs, which will make their way into budget 2-in-1s and notebooks, bringing 4K and USB-C support to the entry-level segment.
