Mass Effect: Andromeda kicks off its first multiplayer APEX mission

If you've had your fill of Mass Effect: Andromeda's lengthy single player for the time being, there's some new multiplayer content to check out now. BioWare has kicked off the first of the game's many upcoming APEX missions, which act as temporary, story-driven multiplayer scenarios that players can take part in.

The first mission launching this week is called "Drack's Missing Scouts." Throughout the mission, you'll have to investigate Firebase Paradox in search of some lost krogan patrols, where you'll presumably end up running into plenty of Kett to kill. On top of the mission itself, you'll also get to access a new multiplayer character, a Krogan Gladiator that just happens to be pretty handy with a hammer.

This mission will be available from March 23-27, giving you a small window to check it out with your friends before the next APEX mission hits. Doing so will, of course, net you Mission Funds to spend on new stuff.

Still on the fence Mass Effect: Andromeda? Be sure to give our full review a look as well.
