Microsoft donates $2 million in software, 200 tablets to youth charities

Microsoft took to NBC's TODAY show to make a sizable contribution to the Holiday Toy and Gift Drive. As part of Microsoft's YouthSpark initiative, Microsoft donated $2 million in software and 200 HP Stream Windows tablets to NBC-sponsored charities and other organizations serving youth.

"We're doing this because we see a gap between those who have access to the skills and training they need to be successful, and those who do not; particularly when it comes to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math," Downey said.
