All the major announcements from April 2019's Inside Xbox

Today, Microsoft hosted another Inside Xbox show in which the company revealed new gameplay footage from experiences like Mortal Kombat 11 and Rage 2. However, the highlight of the show had to be the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition. You can take a look at all of the major announcements from the event below.

Xbox One S All-Digital Edition

Microsoft officially announced the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition. Xbox One S All-Digital Edition is launching on May 7 for $250. If there's a sale on Xbox One consoles, then the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition will also be discounted.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

A few weeks ago, the existence of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate was leaked by a number of outlets. The service combined Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold in one bundle for $15 a month. It's coming later this year, but select Xbox Insiders can start testing it right now.

Backward Compatibility

Ninja Gaiden II is coming to backward compatibility and is Xbox One X Enhanced. Some existing games are also getting Xbox One X Enhanced like Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent, Splinter Cell Conviction, and Splinter Cell Blacklist. However, Fable II and Fable III are also being upgraded for the system.

Gears of War

Gears of War esports is getting a detailed series on TBS. The show wants to share the stories behind the players who participate in the tournaments.

Rage 2

Rage 2 received an exclusive gameplay reveal. The title is Xbox One X Enhanced and runs at 60 frames per second on the system.

Game Bar

The Windows 10 Game Bar is getting overhauled with deep customization features.

Warhammer Chaosbane

Warhammer Chaosbane launches in June, but you can try it out in another beta soon. To gain access, you'll have to preorder the game.

State of Decay 2

State of Decay 2 just passed 5 million players.

Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves is getting a major "Anniversary Update" on April 30. It not only adds fishing and cooking, but also brings single-player stories to the experience for the first time since its launch.

Xbox FanFest

An Xbox FanFest event is taking place in a number of different cities this year around the globe. Even more gamers will get the chance to attend than before. A random draw to win tickets will start on April 19.

E3 2019

Phil Spencer discussed what would be revealed during the event in June, and mentioned that he has been playing Destiny 2 on Project xCloud, the company's upcoming streaming service.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is launching this November and features Xbox One X enhancements.
