Assassin's Creed Odyssey screenshots leak ahead of reveal

A few days ago, an innocent little keychain leaked Assassin's Creed Odyssey, the latest entry in the staple Ubisoft franchise. While the publisher confirmed that the game was coming to Xbox One and other platforms, it didn't provide any screenshots. Luckily, that changed today because Gematsu managed to dig up numerous images from the E3 2018 gameplay session.

Just like Assassin's Creed Origins, Assassin's Creed Odyssey looks absolutely gorgeous. The title features vibrant colors and a lot of new additions. For example, players will immediately notice that you now have dialogue options. Apart from that, naval warfare, taking out outposts, and using your eagle to scout locations are also back. You can take a look at the screenshots below.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is rumored to make its debut at Microsoft's E3 2018 press briefing which is taking place later today. The screenshots are supposedly from the Xbox One X version of the game given their button prompts, clarity, and resolution.

We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more about the game and receive a concrete release date. Hopefully the latest entry in the franchise will live up to the standard set by Assassin's Creed Origins last year. Many gamers are concerned because it's going back to the yearly model but Assassin's Creed Odyssey has been in development for many years.
