ASUS launches sleek new ZenBook 14 UX431 starting at $800

ASUS today launched its new ZenBook 14 (UX431) with prices starting at $800. Available in three configurations, the refreshed laptop carries forward ASUS' sleek ZenBook look with a mix of hardware that makes for a compelling package.

On the outside, the ZenBook line's brushed metal look is on board, along with a 14-inch display that's flanked by narrow bezels on each side. That's backed up by a relatively compact frame, at 0.65-inches thick and weighing just above three pounds. The display also sports a unique "ErgoLift" hinge at its bottom, which is designed to tilt the keyboard up slightly when the laptop is open.

On the inside, the ZenBook 14 can be equipped with up to an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8565U processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of SSD storage. And if you need a bump up from Intel's discrete graphics, ASUS is also offering a version of the ZenBook 14 with NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics.

Along with four speakers, the refreshed ZenBook 14 also includes a fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C port, along with USB 3.1 and 2.0 ports.

If the ZenBook 14 (UX431) strikes your fancy, it's available now starting at $800.
