Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 will soon be playable for free with EA Access

Electronic Arts has detailed a further expansion of its subscription-based services for games – EA Access and Origin Access. The services, which provide access to a range of titles for a flat $4.99 monthly fee, will soon welcome Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2 and more to their roster.

As detailed in a post to the publisher's blog, several new games and expansions will be making their way to the "Vault" in the coming months. Most notably, both services will be gaining Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 as a part of their free-to-play library on Xbox One and PC, despite launching less than one year ago. Beyond the two blockbusters, Origin Access will be also adding Sims 4 Digital Deluxe Edition, Oxenfree, and Rebel Galaxy in the months ahead, however, these won't be available on the service's Xbox One counterpart.

Today, players on both services can also enjoy all of Star Wars Battlefront's expansions, including the Outer Rim, Bespin, Death Star and Rogue One: Scarif add-ons. This joins the base version of Star Wars Battlefront, which was added to the vault late last year.

Several "Play First Trials" are on the horizon for Xbox One subscribers too, including FIFA 18, Madden NFL 18, NHL 18 and NBA Live 18. These trials give subscribers up to ten hours with titles, a week prior to the official launch.

While exact dates for these additions weren't provided, Electronic Arts has assured all aforementioned games will be hitting EA Access and Origin Access by September 2017. What do you think of the upcoming additions to the services? Let us know which titles you're looking forward to in the comments.
