Microsoft's Surface Go brings a more affordable and more portable tablet experience to everyone. Like any other 10-inch tablet, the Go is prone to drops and scratches, and even though it's the cheapest Surface yet, you'll no doubt want to protect it. Here are the best cases available so far for the Surface Go.

Seriously rugged

UAG Metropolis

Protect your Go with a case that's rugged enough to meet MIL-STD-810G drop-test standards, so you won't have to worry about taking it with you into the field. An aluminum stand on the back keeps it propped up, there's a dedicated Surface Pen holder, and it's available in three different colors.

If we're making a suggestion

Those heading out into the field with their Surface Go under arm will no doubt want to use a truly rugged case, and we've had nothing but success using UAG's Metropolis. You might lose function of the built-in Go kickstand, but the overall protection provided really is invaluable. For something a bit more stylish and with a bunch of color and design options available, check out Fintie's case, which is a steal at just $15.
