Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 gets 'Operation Grand Heist' season soon (update)

Updated February 21, 2019: Activision detailed some of the upcoming changes to the Blackout map.

Every year, Activision releases a new Call of Duty game and fans of the franchise love it. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 revives the fan-favorite series, fully embracing its multiplayer success, while exploring new online modes such as "Zombies." A battle royale mode called "Blackout" is also part of the package.

Today, Activision announced that a new season for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 begins on February 19 on PlayStation 4. Xbox One and PC should get it a few weeks later it seems. The content, called "Operation Grand Heist," changes up the entire game by adding a new "Specialist," outfits, items, Blackout tweaks, vehicles, game modes, and more. You can take a look at some of these changes in the trailer below.

That's not all though. If you're a fan of giant infographics that take up the entire page, then you're in luck. Activision also released a massive image which highlights Operation Grand Heist. It seems like there's something everyone can enjoy in this upcoming update.

It'll be interesting to see what the new "Blackout experience" is. Maybe it'll be a twist on the battle royale mode but with larger teams.

In our review, we said, "Sacrifices had to be made, but the gamble of chopping off a short single-player campaign to focus on multiplayer modes that will offer many more hours of fun has paid off."
