Surface Go launches August 2, and it might be the only good 10-inch Windows 10 tablet on the market when it does. Gone are the days of premium, high-quality mini Windows 10 tablets, and the entire industry appears to be done with smaller tablets in favor of larger 12-inch devices like the Surface Pro and iPad Pro.
What happened to all the small Windows 10 tablets?
But, maybe we're just missing something, and out there is a whole world of great 10-inch devices that we just don't know about? Our community has been asking this very question, and perhaps you can help us in our quest to find more great smaller Windows tablets.
Not that I'm into bashing Microsoft's OEM partners, but seriously, it's like they're not even trying. I came across these two gems over the weekend. A Linx and a Lenovo. These are the only 10" Windows devices I've seen in a long time. And they suck. Atom Processors. 2GB Ram. 32GB storage. People, it's mid-2018. Why on earth are you bringing out machines with 3-4 year old processors?...

Today 10-inch Windows tablets do exist, but most of them aren't very good. At most, they usually feature a 720p 16:9 10-inch display, powered by an Intel ATOM processor and 2GB RAM. This definitely doesn't match what Microsoft is bringing to the table with the Surface Go.
Perhaps this is one of the reasons why Microsoft is making the Surface Go, to try and push OEMs to build better 10-inch devices. Anyway, we want to know what you think, so let us know in our forums!
