Chime in: What Android phone is best for a Lumia 1520 fan?

Windows 10 on phones is basically a dead concept (though the Surface Andromeda pocket PC is our next last ditch hope), and many long-time die-hard fans have in the past few years accepted this reality and moved on to Android.

I firmly believe that Android is the next-best operating system following the abandoned Windows 10 Mobile. The variety of hardware, price points, and operating system customization is far more what you'd expect of Windows 10 Mobile when compared to Apple's iPhone platform, which is closed and clinical in its presentation and functionality (not to mention insanely overpriced). In any case, many of us still yearn for that old school Lumia experience, often in our very own forums.

Windows Central forum user saqibqureshi has a question, fellow Windows fans: what Android phone is best for a Lumia 1520 fan?

I'm looking for an android in similar physical dimensions as the Lumia 1520. 6 inch or large that is wide (as opposed to the slim narrow trend). I like a stand-out Phone. My red 1520 constantly gets noticed on its physical beauty, body material, rectangle/sharp Edge look without a case. Any suggestions ?

Something like the Samsung Galaxy Note8 instantly comes to mind, for its large display and powerful camera. However, as someone who considers the Lumia 1520 to be his favorite phone of all time, I've found that the BlackBerry KEYone ticks all the right boxes, and it's far cheaper, with truly obscene battery life and, for the most part, unobtrusive software. And the BlackBerry KEY2 is right around the corner, as well.
