Chime in: What's the best way to use Microsoft services on Android?

Microsoft's Windows Phone efforts have seemingly come to an end, leaving former users to make the shift to rival platforms. Among the most popular for converts is Google's Android, which offers unrivaled versatility when compared to the rival iPhone.

Even if Microsoft's not currently fielding a competitive mobile solution, Android's flexibility has allowed them to basically colonize the competition. A huge range of Microsoft apps and services are on Android today, including the Office suite, Cortana digital assistant, and even Android-exclusive experiences like the Microsoft Launcher.

Discussions surrounding this recently sparked on our forums, with one Windows Central community member asking for advice on making the switch. With Google and its services so heavily integrated into Android, getting the full Microsoft experience, including emails, calendars, and contacts, can take some work.

Hi, I've finally reluctantly taken the plunge and bought my first Android phone (a Pixel 2) after being with Windows Phone/Mobile since day one. All my email, contacts, calendar events, cloud storage etc etc are in Microsoft services.
