Crackdown gets comic book series starting February 2019

Crackdown 3 is on track for its February 2019 launch, but it seems like another Crackdown-related item is also going to make that release date. There is a Crackdown comic book series in the works from Dynamite Comics. Artist Ricardo Jaime said on Twitter, "Amazing new mini-series from Dynamite Comics will be on the stores in February. Don't forget to preorder yours! Cover and interior art by me with the amazing writing of Jon Goff."

You can preorder the first one in the series through Dynamite Comics through its website. It only costs $3.99 so give it a go if you're a fan of the franchise. The comic book will ship on February 20, 2019.

The hyper-powered world of Crackdown has made its way to the comic page! In the not-so-distant future, civilized society is more plugged-in and interconnected than ever — but criminal organizations are growing more connected as well, forming unholy alliances, and plotting for an unprecedented campaign against the world. When a series of devastating blackout attacks plunge major metropolitan areas into darkness and chaos, the global population is terrified, traditional law enforcement is overwhelmed — and it's up to The Agency, an elite international crime-fighting task force, to restore peace and deliver justice, by any means necessary.

Crackdown 3 was supposed to launch many months ago, but was pushed back to February 15 to polish up the experience. Luckily, it looks like this release date will stick because it's available for digital preorder now through the Xbox Store. You can buy it for $59.99, or you can grab it with Xbox Game Pass, for $9.99 per month.
