Rainbow Six Siege Australian update gets its first teaser

Rainbow Six Siege's next major content update is headed down under.

Ubisoft has dropped the first teaser for the next major update headed to its hit tactical shooter, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Confirming its long-rumored Australian setting, the new teaser posted to Twitter features a kangaroo road sign, kicking off two weeks of teasers ahead of a slated February 17, 2019 reveal.

Debuting under Rainbow Six Siege's Year 4, Season 1 update, two new playable Operators and a new multiplayer map are among the expected contents. Previous leaks have established the foundations for "Mozzie" and "Gridlock," the rumored Australian Operators contained in this update. Paired with rumors of with drone-hacking gadgets, offensive traps, alleged motorcycle-themed menu, today's teaser gives further credibility to these claims.

Ubisoft is expected to debut its Year 4 roadmap, and details on the Australian season, at the Six Invitational in Montreal on February 17, 2019.
