Fortnite headlines Xbox One mouse and keyboard launch lineup

Mouse and keyboard support has been a long-time coming for Xbox One, delivering a formal alternative to the console's gamepad. After releasing to a subset of Xbox Insiders last month, Microsoft has taken to its "X018" event in Mexico City to unveil further plans for the feature.

Mouse and keyboard input will be enabled for a subset of Xbox One games, only if implemented by the game's developer. Furthermore, studios are being educated on how to approach mouse and keyboard support to ensure fair, balanced gameplay. Taking to its Inside Xbox show, the first full wave of Xbox One mouse and keyboard titles has been revealed.

Mouse and keyboard support will be headed by Fortnite, Epic Games hit battle royale, alongside War Thunder, Vermintide 2, and Strange Brigade. Support for Deep Rock Galactic, X-Morph Defense, Bomber Crew, will also debut this month, joining the previously-unveiled Warframe.

Microsoft has also outlined games with future support planned, including DayZ, Vigor, Warface, and Moonlighter. Lastly, mouse and keyboard updates for Wargroove, Children of Morta, and Minion Master are also in the works.

Let us know which Xbox One mouse and keyboard games you hope to see next.
