Goat Simulator will be chewing on your Xbox One and Xbox 360 from tomorrow

I suppose the fact ID@Xbox head Chris Charla expected live goats in the office today was a bit telling.

The wacky viral hit Goat Simulator is going live tomorrow on April 17th, bringing goat based ridiculousness to all.

The game has been developed in conjunction between Coffee Stain and Double Eleven:

"People have asked us what's so special about the Xbox editions of Goat Simulator, and they felt that they owed it to the Xbox community to give a robust response. The PC version melted the best gaming rigs out there with its bugs, crashes and well… sheer resource needed to power the goat simulation technology for just one goat. So the answer is in short that it actually works, and with more than one goat! It may "crash", you may "fall out of the world" but that's part of the fun and in the end we got it to stop tinkering with the saved games of other titles installed on the same Xbox console so that's a win. Thanks to some of the best technologists working on these Xbox editions we managed to get two goats running at the same time on Xbox 360 and with the mighty power of Xbox One we were able to get four (Quad) goats!"

Goat Simulator is frankly hard to describe, and I'd be curious as to what exactly went down in the meeting that led to its conception. In Goat Simulator, you play as a goat, and you wreck stuff, and accrue points - all within an open world of exaggerated physics and hilarious toys.

Ultimately Goat Simulator is a parody of the inexplicably popular Simulator games, such as Train Simulator and Farm Simulator. It's probably best if you just watch the trailer above.

Cancel E3, we have our GOTY. G stands for goat.
