Grab some free Anthem-themed Xbox Avatars

Anthem is a shared-world third-person shooter from BioWare. BioWare is the studio behind famous franchises like Dragon Age and Mass Effect. The title launched on February 22, but if you're on PC and an Origin Access Premier subscriber, you gained access to the full game last Friday. Just like Destiny, the developer wants to support the game for the next ten years.

If you're on Xbox One, you can claim some free Xbox Avatar costumes on the Microsoft Store. Usually, these cosmetic items cost a few bucks. In Anthem, you own four exosuits called "Javelins." The Xbox Avatar costumes represent the suits. They're quite stylish and remind us of Master Chief's armor!

In our review, we said, "Despite the countless issues I have with Anthem, I would be lying if I said I haven't enjoyed my time with it. That being said, I think it would be best to wait for a while before purchasing Anthem, at least until we see what this update in March entails. While the story and writing can't be fixed in the short term, most of the other problems can."
