Hands-on with LG's first convertible 14-inch gram laptop

LG's gram laptops are evolving for the better this year. Alongside the new 17-inch model introduced at CES 2019, LG took the wraps off of its latest revision to the 14-inch model, which comes as a 2-in-1 convertible for the first time.

LG is still keeping things light as well: the 14-inch convertible gram laptop weighs in at just 2.5 pounds. Given its relatively large 72Wh battery, which LG estimates will net you about 20 hours of battery life, that's pretty darn light.

As for specs, you're looking at a 14-inch 1080p touch display, an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of SSD storage. And for fans of Windows Hello, the power button hides an integrated fingerprint reader for authentication.

The LG gram 14 2-in-1 is available now through Best Buy, with prices starting at $1,500.
