Hands-on with Windows 10 build 18323 and all its new changes

We're back with another Windows 10 build video, and this week we're taking a look at build 18323, which has been released to Insiders in the Fast ring. This is the first "19h1_release" branch build Insiders have received, marking the beginning of the end for 19H1 development, as the company starts checking in final code and shifts its focus over to ensuring this update is stable enough for release in a few months.

This week's video showcases improved RAW image format support, slight improvements to the Windows Light theme, and some changes that have been showing up for Insiders in the last few builds, including drop shadows behind menus and popups, Cortana and Search split, and improvements to the emoji keyboard.

Windows 10 19H1 is expected to ship sometime this April, with a final build scheduled for signoff in March. This gives Microsoft a little more than two months to get 19H1 fixed up and pushed out the door. The company will be taking extra precautions this time around to ensure 19H1 doesn't ship with any blockbuster issues that might cause user files to be deleted or devices to stop working correctly. (Ahem, _October Update

What are your thoughts on 19H1 so far? Let us know.
