Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice gets gorgeous Xbox One X trailer

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice launched on PC and PlayStation 4 last year and garnered tremendous critical acclaim. Back then, the developer attributed the decision to focus on the two platforms as a limitation of the studio size. Now that it's coming to Xbox One with Xbox One X support, new information keeps on trickling out about how the game looks and runs on the systems.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice features three graphical modes on Xbox One X. You can either choose to render the game at native 4K resolution with dynamic scaling, with enhanced visual effects, or at 60 FPS. Today, Ninja Theory released a new trailer showcasing the game on Microsoft's new console. The video is absolutely stunning and it seems that Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice might be one of the best looking titles ever to hit the console.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a third-person action game from the makers of DMC: Devil May Cry, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and Heavenly Sword. Set in the Viking age, a broken Celtic warrior embarks on a haunting vision quest into hell to fight for the soul of her dead lover. According to the developer, the title was created in collaboration with neuroscientists and people who experience psychosis. This is why Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice puts you deep into Senua's mind in a journey that blurs the line between hallucinations and reality.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is currently available for digital preorder for $26.99 on Xbox One. The title is expected to launch on April 11, 2018.
