Jump Force may not let you easily invite friends into your game

Jump Force is an upcoming fighting game where you can play as a variety of famous anime characters in one experience. Heroes from Bleach and Naruto Shippuden make an appearance to save the world from unprecedented threats. A lot of gamers have been looking forward to this crossover experience ever since it was announced, but it seems like the game may lack some basic features.

The recent Jump Force beta was a disaster because players couldn't even try it out due to a myriad of technical issues. Considering that the game is coming out in a few weeks, the lack of polish is a little concerning to say the least. However, a reply posted on Twitter by the Bandai Namco account is cause for even more concern.

When a player asked if he could invite friends into his game, Bandai Namco said "Sorry, it's not possible to invite players in the beta or in the final game. It's possible to meet friends in the lobby though and to start a battle from here." From this message, it seems like it's not possible to form parties and play with your friends in Jump Force. You'll have to keep on refreshing lobbies to see if you run into your friends. Unless this was posted in error by someone unfamiliar with the project, Jump Force lacks a basic feature in fighting games.
