Metro Exodus Xbox One X bundle goes up for preorder

Today, Microsoft announced that the "Xbox One X Metro Saga Bundle" is available for preorder at most major retailers worldwide. In addition to a copy of the upcoming Metro Exodus, the bundle additionally includes downloads of Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux, so players can jump into the haunting tale of humanity's survival from the very beginning.

According to the company, players can embark on the ultimate post-apocalyptic gaming destination when the Xbox One X Metro Saga Bundle arrives on February 15, 2019 for $499.99. The title features Xbox One X enhancements and runs at native 4K resolution on Microsoft's new console. From what we've seen at events like E3 2018, the title looks stunning on the system.

To celebrate the launch of the preorder campaign, publisher Deep Silver released a new story trailer for the game. This trailer will take you from the frozen Winter streets of Moscow to the scorched summer sands of the Caspian Desert. The footage features a new cast of characters and provides a first look at some of the locations they will visit on their journey across post-apocalyptic Russia.

Metro Exodus is a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter which has garnered a lot of interest in recent months. The game is a sequel to Metro: Last Light which was ported to Xbox One a few years ago. Years after nuclear war devastated Earth, a few survivors still cling to existence beneath the ruins of Moscow. They have struggled against the lethal elements and fought mutated beasts. Now, in Metro Exodus, they must flee the underground tunnels in search of a new life in the East.
