MSI's GS75 Stealth and PS63 Modern laptops land with GeForce RTX graphics MSI GS75 Stealth

CES 2019 has unleashed a flood of new notebooks featuring NVIDIA's RTX 20 Series graphics chips for laptops. Joining the fray today is MSI, which has hit the show floor with some new laptops geared toward gamers and professionals alike.

MSI GS75 Stealth

First up is the GS75 Stealth, a laptop that packs plenty of power and perks for gamers. The matte black frame lends the GS75 Stealth a serious look, which is only broken up by the RGB lighting behind the keys and an MSI logo on the rear cover.

On the inside, you'll find an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics, and up to 32GB of RAM. Those components power gameplay on a 17.3-inch display with a speedy 144Hz refresh rate.

Impressively, MSI has also packed in an internal passive radiator to deliver plenty of audio power while also keeping the GS75 Stealth relatively thin at 0.75 inches.

Apart from the GS75 Stealth, MSI has updated its GT, GE, and GL Series with NVIDIA RTX graphics as well.

On the other side of the spectrum is the PS63 Modern, a laptop built for creators with a smaller emphasis on graphical oomph.

Powering the PS63 Modern is an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 with Max-Q for graphics. You'll also be able to equip the PS63 Modern with up to 32GB of RAM, which will come in handy when tackling intensive tasks on the 15.6-inch 1080p display.

Rounding out the laptop is an extra-large touchpad and a fingerprint sensor for Windows Hello authentication. The battery is rated for up to 16 hours of use on a single charge and can be quickly charged once you hit empty.

MSI is also touting Quiet Mark certification, indicating that the PS63 Modern should remain quiet no matter the working environment. The company is also shipping the laptop with "Creator Center," a proprietary optimization suite that includes adjustable system modes for creative software.

Pricing and availability for the GS75 Stealth and PS63 Modern weren't mentioned.
