Need more Fallout 4 in your life? A Game of the Year edition is on the way.

As you might expect, the Fallout 4 game of the year edition comprises the base game, and all of its subsequent DLC, including Nuka-World, Vault-Tec Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, Far Harbor, Wasteland Workshop, and Automatron. There's potentially hundreds and hundreds of hours of gameplay on offer here, making it an amazing deal for newcomers to the franchise, or those wanting to jump back in for a replay.

For those who are unfamiliar with Fallout 4, think of it as a shooter with strong RPG elements and vast and complex open world gameplay. It also includes survival modes where thirst and hunger play a role, and base building gameplay that allows you to destroy the environment and build your own settlements. While Fallout 4 was a step backwards in terms of the branching narrative the series is known for, the solid gameplay more than makes up for it. The DLC includes new areas such as the watery lands of Far Harbor, and new game mechanics in the form of Automatron, which lets you build your own robot.

Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition will be available on September 26, 2017 for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 for $59.99, or $99.99 with a physical re-issue of the Pip-Boy Collector's Edition which includes a toy Pip-Boy wrist-mount for the game's companion app (which is astonishingly available for Windows 10 Mobile.)
