Pure Farming 2018 for Xbox and PC threatens your farm with locusts, fires, and droughts

Farming simulators are sleeper hit games — low profile, but somehow widely popular. Techland Publishing and developer Ice Flames have released a new trailer for Pure Farming 2018, revealing the game's three modes.

Each mode is tailored to different play styles, from your experience, to your available time, to how deep you want to go:

  • My First Farm mode teaches the ins and outs of modern agriculture. Due to detailed objectives and helpful tips, players will learn how to use farming machinery, harvest crops, and produce green energy.
  • Farming Challenges consist of twenty hour-long scenarios that challenge players with many extreme situations that farmers around the world have to cope with unfortunately. Players will need to save crops from fire, sustain the farm through a severe drought, or even survive a locust attack like in the time of Moses.
  • Free Farming mode gives players complete freedom as to how they play. Players can set the parameters of the game and simply run the farm their own way. All machinery and production facilities will be available for purchase from the beginning, with the goal of building a global farming empire like the Agria Corporation.

If you're into farming simulators, keep an eye out for this one. Pure Farming 2018 is scheduled for a March 13, 2018, release for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4, and my inner farm is looking forward to it.
