Rainbow Six Siege goes free to play for Xbox Live Gold subscribers this weekend

Microsoft is getting ready to kick off another free play weekend for Xbox Live Gold subscribers this weekend. This time, Gold members will be able to get their hands on Rainbow Six Siege for free from August 24 through August 27.

During the free play weekend, all of the game's maps and modes will be available, and you'll also be able to work towards unlocking the various operators that are available to unlock. As is usual with these free play weekends, you'll be able to keep your progress should you decide to pick up the game after the weekend is over.

Lastly, Rainbow Six Siege will be on sale at a 50 percent discount from August 24 through September 4, bringing it down to $25 on the Xbox Store. That's not a bad deal if you like tactical team-based shooters.

If you want to give the game a shot, you'll be able to download it on your Xbox One as a Gold member starting at 12:01 a.m. on August 24. For more, be sure to check out our Rainbow Six Siege review.
