Razer announces Thresher Ultimate Xbox wireless headset

The Razer Thresher Ultimate is a Dolby 7.1 surround sound headset that maxes out the audio bandwidth available on the Xbox One and Xbox One X. It sports 50mm drivers and leather-style cups, complete with memory foam for maximum comfort. There are also optional cups infused with coolant gel to make long gaming sessions more comfortable. And they're completely wireless.

Here's everything you need to know.

Razer claims that the Thresher Ultimate headset is the "most reliable" wireless Xbox headset, designed to support connections of up to 40 feet. Microsoft worked directly with Razer to ensure maximum compatibility across the Xbox One family.

The Thresher comes with a retractable unidirectional microphone for voice communication. The audio controls are on the cans themselves, meaning there are no fiddly adapters and you don't have to dive into the Xbox One settings to adjust sound.

Here are some quick specs.
