Remastered cult classic L.A. Noire is up for pre-order on Xbox One

L.A. Noire originally released in 2011 and was heralded as an amazing experience due to its focus on figuring out the truth. You had to interview suspects and analyze facial cues to determine if suspects were lying or holding back.

L.A. Noire is a dark and violent crime thriller set against the backdrop of 1940's Los Angeles. Amid the post-war boom of Hollywood's Golden Age, Cole Phelps, a Los Angeles Police Department detective, is thrown into a city drowning in its own success. Corruption is out of control, the drug trade is booming, and murder rates are at an all-time high. In his fight to climb the ranks and do what's right, Phelps must unravel the truth behind a string of arsons, racketeering, and murders. However, it's not that easy. Aside from combating criminals and powerful crime bosses, Phelps has to counter members of his own department. Are there crooked cops who might betray you? You never know.

Going back to the game's technical aspects, the title runs at 1080p on Xbox One and stunning 4K on Xbox One X. The remastered version Includes the original game and all additional add-ons. Be sure to check out the game at retailers especially if you haven't played it before. The game launches on November 14, 2017 and is priced at $39.99. Currently it looks like it's only available for pre-order on the Xbox Store and not Amazon.
