Small cumulative update brings QuickBooks fix for April 2018 Update PCs

We're only a week out from June's official Patch Tuesday, but Microsoft is pushing out another cumulative update for Windows 10 April 2018 Update PCs in the meantime. Overall, it's a pretty small one, only addressing an issue keeping Intuit QuickBooks users from running in multi-user mode (via Neowin).

The update comes as KB4338548 (build 17134.83) and includes the following:

This update addresses an issue where the 2017 and 2018 versions of Intuit QuickBooks Desktop can't run in multi-user mode on Windows 10, version 1803 devices. The QuickBooks multi-user mode service fails to start with error "Windows could not start the QuickBooksDBXX service on Local Computer." and "Error 193: 0xc1".

That's probably pretty underwhelming for those who aren't QuickBooks users, but we should see a laundry list of fixes arrive next week when Microsoft releases its fleet of Patch Tuesday updates for June. For now, if your PC is on the April 2018 Update, you should be able to snag KB4338548 via Windows Update now.
