Star Wars Battlefront II is a multiplayer shooter which places you in various combat scenarios across the Star Wars galaxy as you embark on a first or third-person action experience. Iconic characters like Darth Maul, Han Solo, and Kylo Ren make an appearance in this game, and there are be plenty of other surprises across its campaign and multiplayer modes. While the campaign may be short, it's a lot of fun.

Star Wars Battlefront II is currently a part of EA Access, a subscription service which grants you access to numerous EA titles, but it's also discounted to just $6.25 on the Microsoft Store. Star Wars Battlefront II ignited a microtransactions controversy which a lot of foreign governments cracked down on. While EA eventually changed the business model of the game, it still left fans disillusioned. Not only did the microtransactions impact the review scores, but they overshadowed anything positive about the game, like its single-player campaign. Hopefully the publisher has learned its lesson from this launch.

Over the past few months, EA has turned the game around. It no longer features a pay-to-win microtransactions model and lets you earn gear and other cosmetics rather easily. However, it seems like the damaged has been done. Are you interested in Star Wars Battlefront II? Let us know. With games like Anthem around the corner, Star Wars Battlefront II definitely has its work cut out.
