Updated Halo: The Master Chief Collection will let you selectively install content

343 Industries has promised a lot of improvements for the updated version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection and it looks like "Intelligent Delivery" is one of them. When Brian Jarrard, the Community Director at 343 Industries, was asked whenever you could selectively install content in the new version, he posted a screenshot of the custom download menu.

Let's say you only want to play the campaigns and not bother with multiplayer. You're in luck because you can now choose what to install. The screenshot gives plenty of options and should reduce download times for many gamers.

Hopefully Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be a polished experience when the new version launches. While we know that the update is coming relatively soon, the studio hasn't provided a concrete release date. We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection was quite a big deal when it came in 2014. For the first time ever, Master Chief's entire story was available on one console. The game features a remastered Halo 2: Anniversary, along with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4. You can also purchase a Halo 3: ODST add-on for the title. If you love Halo, or love first-person shooters in general, this is the definitive collection to own.
