Where to find the winter drag strip in Forza Horizon 4

Every week on a Thursday the season changes in Forza Horizon 4, and with it come special races and challenges. One of these that isn't specifically highlighted as a seasonal race, at least not right now, is the Ice Flats drag strip.

You likely had no idea this existed, since it only applies during winter. But if you're looking for a new high-speed test, here's where to find it.

Where to find the Ice Flats winter drag strip in Forza Horizon 4

Now that Derwent Water has frozen over, the Ice Flats drag strip is open for business. In a similar sense to the beach drag strip, you can't just fast travel to it, since it's not actually on a road.

You should be seeing a marker in the southern part of Derwent Water, but if you're not, head to the location on the map shown below.

The easiest way to get there is to go into the lake from the Derwent Mansion player house, heading straight out onto the ice and going northeast for a short jaunt. You'll see the standard start line for the drag strips appear and you'll be able to race solo, co-op, PvP or rivals just as with any other drag strip.

So, head on out onto the ice and enjoy it while you can. After seven days spring arrives and you'll have to wait until winter comes around again to get some icy drag racing in.

Forza Horizon 4 is available now for Xbox One and Windows 10 from $59.99 and as part of Xbox Game Pass.
