Windows Capture 3D will let you easily bring objects around you into your digital workspace

On stage at its Windows 10 event today, Microsoft announced Windows Capture 3D: a way to easuily bring objects around you into your digital workspace with nothing more than a Windows Phone.

Windows Capture 3D

Windows Capture 3D was shown off on stage using an HP Elite X3, but it will work with any capable Windows Phone. The process works by using your phone's camera to cycle around any object your choose to scan it into 3D digital space. From there, Windows Capture 3D creates a 3D model of the object that you can fully manipulate and throw into, for example, something you're working on in Paint 3D.
