Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus brings the fight to America

During its E3 2017 presentation this evening, Bethesda ventured back into the world of Wolfenstein with the latest title in the series, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Throughout the reveal trailer, we get a look at the game's new setting in Nazi-controlled America, where the seeds of a budding resistance are being sown. Check it out below:

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus picks things back up picks things back up with BJ Blazkowicz, the eternal face of the franchise, years after his assassination of General Deathshead in 2014's Wolfenstein: The New Order.

America, 1961. Your assassination of Nazi General Deathshead was a short-lived victory. Despite the setback, the Nazis maintain their stranglehold on the world. You are BJ Blazkowicz, aka "Terror-Billy," member of the Resistance, scourge of the Nazi empire, and humanity's last hope for liberty. Only you have the guts, guns, and gumption to return stateside, kill every Nazi in sight, and spark the second American Revolution.

The New Colossus will take you on a romp across the Unites States, battling the Nazi regime in a variety of locations such as Roswell, New Orleans, and New York. Powering the visuals is the id Tech 6 engine, which is the same tech behind the stellar-looking DOOM from 2016.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is due for release on October 27 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
