Xbox Design Lab comes to Microsoft Store app on Xbox One and PC

Microsoft's Xbox Design Lab is now available from the Microsoft Store app on your PC and Xbox One. The move means that you'll now be able to create custom controllers from the comfort of your couch, without having to head to the Xbox Design Lab website.

Microsoft says that it has "streamlined the design experience" for the Microsoft Store, requiring fewer clicks to get through the design and checkout process. To access the design lab, you can head to the Microsoft Store on your PC or console and search for "Xbox Design Lab." The option is also listed in the "Devices" tab of the PC app and as a tile at the bottom of the store page on Xbox One.

Once on the Xbox Design Lab page in the Microsoft Store, you can customize your controller just as you would on the web. This includes the body, back, D-pad, bumpers, buttons, and more. After you're done, you can add the controller to your cart and purchase it like you would anything else on the Microsoft Store.

The launch comes just ahead of Microsoft's Black Friday sale, which will cut $10 off the normal $70 price of Xbox Design Lab controllers from November 23-26.
